Arb. App is a workforce management application operated by Alma Systems LLC. It is provided to employees of organizations that subscribe to the Arb Systems platform for human resources and workforce administration. Access requires an account issued by your employer; the app is not available to the general public.
Information we collect
- Account and employment information — name, email address, phone number, job role, work location, and employment records entered by you or by your employer's administrators.
- Content you submit — time off requests, tasks, comments, support tickets, and any documents or photos you choose to upload.
- Device information for notifications — a push notification token and a device identifier, used to deliver alerts to your device.
- Usage and diagnostic data — basic technical logs used to keep the service running and to troubleshoot errors.
Camera and photo library
The app requests access to your camera and photo library only so you can attach images to documents, profiles, and support tickets. Photos are uploaded only when you explicitly select them. We do not access your library in the background.
Face ID and biometrics
If you enable biometric sign in, authentication is performed by iOS on your device. Your fingerprint or face data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to or stored by us. We store only a revocable sign-in token in your device's secure keychain, which you can revoke at any time by signing out.
How we use your information
- To provide the features you and your employer use, such as time off, performance management, employee documents, and approvals.
- To send notifications about items that require your attention.
- To secure accounts and prevent unauthorized access.
- To diagnose and fix technical problems.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps and websites.
Your information is visible to authorized users within your own organization, according to the permissions your employer configures. We also use service providers who process data on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, file storage, email delivery, and push notification delivery. These providers may only process data to provide services to us.
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your employer maintains an active account with us, and afterwards only as needed to meet legal, tax, or recordkeeping obligations.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Because your employer controls your account, some requests must be directed to them. You can contact us at any time and we will help route your request.
Children
Arb. App is intended for use by employees and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this app.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
